How to form Korean verbs into asking permission:

• Step 1: Drop the 요 [yo]
  해요 [hae-yo] I do it. → 해 [hae]
• Step 2: Add -도 될까요? [do doel-kka-yo?]
  해 → 해도 될까요? [hae-do doel-kka-yo?] Is it okay if I do it?

Example: 앉다 [an-da] to sit

• Step 1: Drop the 요
  앉아요 [an-ja-yo] → 앉아 [an-ja]
• Step 2: Add -도 될까요?
  앉아 → 앉아도 될까요? [an-ja-do doel-kka-yo?]

여기 앉아도 될까요? [yeo-gi an-ja-do doel-kka-yo?]
Is it OK if I sit here?

• 여기 [yeo-gi] means "here"
• 앉아도 될까요? [an-ja-do doel-kka-yo?] means "Can I sit?"

보다 [bo-da] means 'to see' but this can also mean 'try doing' when it comes after an action word.

(Action) + 봐도 될까요? [bwa-do doel-kka-yo?] Can I try doing (action)?

입어 봐도 될까요? [i-beo bwa-do doel-kka-yo?]
Can I try it on?

• 입어 보다 [i-beo bo-da] means "to try it on"

먹어 봐도 될까요? [meo-geo bwa-do doel-kka-yo?]
Can I try eating it?

• 먹어 보다 [meo-geo bo-da] means "to try eating it"

• A: 이거 입어 봐도 될까요? [i-geo i-beo bwa-do doel-kka-yo?]
  Can I try it on?
• B: 네. 입어 보세요.
  Sure. Please try it on.
