Use -γΉ κ² κ°μμ [(γΉ) geot gat-a-yo] when you feel fairly sure about what's going to happen.
Comparing definite vs probable future:
- λ³Ό κ±°μμ. [bol geo-ye-yo] "I will watch it."
- λ³Ό κ² κ°μμ. [bol geot gat-a-yo] "I think I will watch it."
- 곡λΆν κ±°μμ. [gong-bu-hal geo-ye-yo] "I will study it."
- 곡λΆν κ² κ°μμ. [gong-bu-hal geot gat-a-yo] "I think I will study it."
ν릴 κ² κ°μμ. [heu-ril geot gat-a-yo]
I think it'll be cloudy.
- ν릴 κ² [heu-ril geot] means "the fact that it will be cloudy"
- κ°μμ [gat-a-yo] means "be similar to"
λΉκ° μ¬ κ² κ°μμ. [bi-ga ol geot gat-a-yo]
I think it'll rain.
- λΉκ° [bi-ga] means "rain"
- μ¬ κ² κ°μμ [ol geot gat-a-yo] means "I think it will come"
λμ΄ μ¬ κ² κ°μμ. [nun-i ol geot gat-a-yo]
I think it'll snow.
- λμ΄ [nun-i] means "snow"
λ°λμ΄ λΆ κ² κ°μμ. [ba-ram-i bul geot gat-a-yo]
I think it'll be windy.
- λ°λμ΄ [ba-ram-i] means "wind"
