Make a sentence to express intentions with -(์ผ)๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [(eu)ryeo-go hae-yo]
Step 1: Drop the ๋ค [da]. ๊ณต๋ถํ๋ค [gong-bu-ha-da] to study โ ๊ณต๋ถํ [gong-bu-ha]
Step 2: Add -(์ผ)๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [(eu)ryeo-go hae-yo]. ๊ณต๋ถํ [gong-bu-ha] โ ๊ณต๋ถํ๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [gong-bu-ha-ryeo-go hae-yo] I intend to study.
- When the verb stem ends in a CONSONANT, use -์ผ๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [eu-ryeo-go hae-yo] (์ฝ-, ๋จน-)
- When the verb stem ends in a VOWEL, use -๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [ryeo-go hae-yo] (๋ณด-, ์น-)
- When the verb stem ends with ใน, use -๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [ryeo-go hae-yo] (๋ง๋ค- โ ๋ง๋ค๋ ค๊ณ ํด์)

- ์ค๋ [o-neul] means "today"
- ๊ณต๋ถํ๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [gong-bu-ha-ryeo-go hae-yo] means "I intend to study."

- ํ๊ตญ [han-guk] means "Korea"
- ๊ฐ๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [ga-ryeo-go hae-yo] means "I'm trying to go."
๋ฒ๋ฐ๊ธฐ๋ฅผ ๋จน์ผ๋ ค๊ณ ํด์. [beon-de-gi-reul meo-geu-ryeo-go hae-yo]
I intend to eat silkworm pupa.
- ๋ฒ๋ฐ๊ธฐ [beon-de-gi] means "silkworm pupa"
- ๋จน์ผ๋ ค๊ณ ํด์ [meo-geu-ryeo-go hae-yo] means "I'm trying to eat it."
