How to say one event causes another with -서 [seo]

Ex) Combine 머리가 아파요 [meo-ri-ga a-pa-yo] "I have a headache." and 못 가요 [mot ga-yo] "I can't go."

Step 1: Drop the 요 [yo] from the first sentence.
머리가 아파요 [meo-ri-ga a-pa-yo] → 머리가 아파 [meo-ri-ga a-pa]

Step 2: Add -서 [seo] to the first sentence.
머리가 아파 [meo-ri-ga a-pa] → 머리가 아파서 [meo-ri-ga a-pa-seo]

Step 3: Add the final sentence.
머리가 아파서 못 가요. [meo-ri-ga a-pa-seo mot ga-yo] I can't go because I have a headache.

머리가 아파서 못 갔어요. [meo-ri-ga a-pa-seo mot ga-sseo-yo]
Because I had a headache, I couldn't go.

• 머리가 아파서 [meo-ri-ga a-pa-seo] means "because I have a headache,"
• 못 갔어요 [mot ga-sseo-yo] means "I couldn't go."

트이다로 공부해서 빨리 배워요. [teu-i-da-ro gong-bu-hae-seo ppal-ri bae-wo-yo]
Because I study with Teuida, I learn fast.

• Step 1: 트이다로 공부해요 [teu-i-da-ro gong-bu-hae-yo] "I study using Teuida." → 트이다로 공부해 [teu-i-da-ro gong-bu-hae]
• Step 2: 트이다로 공부해 [teu-i-da-ro gong-bu-hae] → 트이다로 공부해서 [teu-i-da-ro gong-bu-hae-seo]
• Step 3: Add 빨리 배워요 [ppal-ri bae-wo-yo] "I learn fast."
