How to form negative sentences:
-ăžă [masu] â -ăžăă [masen]
- ăăžă [shimasu] I do it. â ăăžăă [shimasen] I don't do it.
- ăăăžă [arimasu] there is â ăăăžăă [arimasen] there isn't
ĺľăŻăăăžăă [tamago wa arimasen]
There aren't any eggs.
- ĺľ [tamago] means "eggs"
- 㯠[wa] is the particle that marks the subject
- ăăăžăă [arimasen] means "there aren't"
- Literally means "eggs, there aren't"
How to form negative sentences into past tense:
-ăžăă [masen] â -ăžăăă§ăă [masen deshita]
ăăăžăăă§ăă [arimasen deshita]
There weren't any.
- ăăăžăă [arimasen] means "there aren't"
- ă§ăă [deshita] means "was"
ăăžăăă§ăă [shimasen deshita]
I didn't do it.
- ăăžăă [shimasen] means "I don't do it"
