어느 나라 사람이에요? [eo-neu na-ra sa-ram-i-e-yo?]
Which country are you from?
- 어느 나라 [eo-neu na-ra] means “Which country?”
- 사람 [sa-ram] means “person”
- Literally means “Which country, person, are you?”
“Your” is implied in 어느 나라 사람이에요?
저는_____사람이에요. [jeo-neun____sa-ram-i-e-yo]
I’m from____.
- 저는 미국 사람이에요. [jeo-neun mi-guk sa-ram-i-e-yo]
I’m from the US. - 저는 인도 사람이에요. [jeo-neun in-do sa-ram-i-e-yo]
I’m from India. - 저는 한국 사람이에요. [jeo-neun han-guk sa-ram-i-e-yo]
I’m from Korea.
Remember to have 이에요 [i-e-yo] after a consonant sound and 예요 [ye-yo] after a vowel sound.
