How to change Korean verb from present tense to past tense.
Step 1: Drop the ์ [yo]. ํด์ [hae-yo] โ ํด [hae]
Step 2: Add -ใ ์ด์ [sseo-yo]. ํด [hae] โ ํ์ด์ [hae-sseo-yo]
์์ ํ์ด์ [suk-je-hae-sseo-yo]
I did my homework.

์ด์ ์์นจ์ ๋จน์์ด์ [eo-je a-chim-eul meo-geo-sseo-yo]

- ์ด์ [eo-je] means "yesterday"
- ์์นจ [a-chim] means "breakfast"
- Step 1: ๋จน์ด์ [meo-geo-yo] I eat โ ๋จน์ด [meo-geo]
- Step 2: ๋จน์ด [meo-geo] โ ๋จน์์ด์ [meo-geo-sseo-yo] I ate

- ์ฃผ๋ง [ju-mal] means "weekend"
- ์ [e] particle that means "during"
- ๊ณต์ [gong-won] means "park"
- ์์ [e-seo] particle that means "at"
- ์ํ [yeong-hwa] means "movie"
- ๋ฅผ [reul] particle that marks the subject
- ๋ดค์ด์ [bwa-sseo-yo] means "I watched"
