The -ㅂ시다 form: This form is polite and used to suggest doing something together in a respectful way.

  • 같이 갑시다. [ga-chi gap-si-da] – Let's go together
  • 영화를 봅시다. [yeong-hwa-reul bop-si-da] – Let's watch a movie.
  • 커피 마십시다. [keo-pi ma-sip-si-da] – Let's drink coffee.

점심 먹읍시다. [jeom-sim meo-geup-si-da]
Let's eat lunch.

  • 점심 [jeom-sim] means "lunch"
  • 먹읍시다. [meo-geup-si-da] means "Let's eat."

양식 어때요? [yang-sik eo-ttae-yo?]
How about Western food?

  • 양식 [yang-sik] means "Western food"
  • 어때요? [eo-ttae-yo?] means "How is it?"

___어때요? [___eo-ttae-yo?] means "How do you think about ___?"

  • 한식 어때요? [han-sik eo-ttae-yo?] "How about Korean food?"

  • 합시다 [hap-si-da] means "Let's do it."
