What is your job?
- お- [o-] makes it respectful
- 仕事 [shigoto] means "job"
- は [wa] makes the name the topic of your question
- 何ですか [nan desu ka] means "What is it?"
- Literally means "Your job, what is it?"

- 先生です [sensei desu] I'm a teacher.
- 学生です [gakusei desu] I'm a student.

You are a student? - A: お仕事は何ですか [o shigoto wa nan desu ka]
What is your job? - A: 先生です
